Far north remains distressed

Far North Queensland remains Australia's black spot for distressed property, according to Mark Korda of insolvency firm KordaMentha.

The restructuring expert predicted there would be an increase in the volume of impaired real estate within the next year and claimed financial institutions continued to offload loans attached to assets in Queensland and New Zealand.
